How much does it cost?

Each ad costs 5% of your asking price and will stay on the website until you delete the ad or for 365 days. Though it isn’t free, you will have much more visibility with much less competition than Craig’s’ list.  Posting will be easier and your audience will be serious viewers who are looking for nice furniture and a good value. DO NOT ADD A $ DOLLAR SIGN WHEN TYPING THE PRICE OF YOUR AD.

How easy is it to post an item for sale?

It is so easy.  Check out this video! All you need is a digital camera!  Once you learn the process it will only take a few minutes to post your item for sale.  Then a buyer will  email you to ask questions about your item.   No one has your email address until you email them back.  If you like the sound of their email, respond to them.  Once you feel comfortable with a buyer call them up and tell them how to reach you to make the purchase.   You are only a few days away from cash in your pocket and more room in your home!  (Room to buy furniture from me??!!)  Of course you may want to put your email address in the ad or your phone number.  My number and email and address is all over my website and I have never had a problem.  This will ensure that your buyers can easily reach you.

5 steps for Posting Ads

Step 1. Photograph your item with a Digital Camera set on the lowest picture size setting

Step 2. Remove the card from your camera and insert it into your computer or your printer.  Upload the photo and edit it if necessary.  EDIT  means to crop the photo or enhance it with your photo software.  All computers have this capability or use http://webresizer.com/.

Step 3. Go to my website and click on Janice’s List.  Then click-  “Post an Ad” tab.  Register.  Enter the title of your ad, price, description, and upload your pictures.

Step 4. Pay for your ad using PayPal and you are done.  Anyone can use Pay Pal!   You just need a credit card.  Pay Pal is totally secure and safe.

Step 5. Now look for emails from your prospective buyers!  Email your friends and tell them about your furniture that is for sale on Janice’s List!
